DANIEL’S CAFÉ, Middle Caicos
Chef Daniel and his son, Devon opened this café to serve the island’s 250 locals, visitors, and day-trippers alike from North Caicos and Provo, and the outdoor deck has outstanding views of the ocean.
Food is simple and fresh: conch, fish, peas and rice, and salads with homemade baked bread. The restaurant is also home to the non-profit Middle Co-Op Shop which promotes locally made produce.
You’ll need to make a reservation for the three-course dinners that are offered twice weekly, as the café fills up quickly and the cook needs to know how many to prepare for ahead of time.
