PROVO PONIES, LONG BAY, PROVIDENCIALES
Join Provo Ponies for one of the most unique experiences on the island. Ride through the crystal clear waters and along the white sand beach of Long Bay.
Provo Ponies have a few different tours, group rides, private rides and able to also accommodate specials requests. All rides go in the water unless you request in advance not to.
Upon arrival, you will be provided with shoes if you do not bring your own appropriate foot wear, and a phone case if needed. Helmets are available and are required for those under 18 years of age. You will be briefed on safety and given a quick lesson on your horse. Once all riders in the group are up on their horses and tack is adjusted, you will head down the road and through a jungly path to beautiful Long Bay Beach.
If you bring a camera/phone, the guides will assist you in capturing plenty of pictures.
More experienced riders will be given the opportunity to canter on the beach if conditions allow for it, but only at low tide. Provo Ponies do not require nose-to-tail riding; you are allowed a fair amount of freedom on the rides.
The most unique part of this ride is riding in the ocean. Provo Ponies horses LOVE the water. When you get back to the barn you can give your horse a treat and a cuddle, maybe get yourself an original Provo Ponies T-shirt or hat before heading back to your hotel or Villa.

The only horseback riding tour on the island that starts directly on the beach, it literally takes less than 60 seconds from the sand and into the ocean.
